POPPY APPEAL RAISING FUNDS IN THE ASHLEY CENTRE EPSOM
The Ashley Centre Epsom is once again supporting this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal by hosting a fundraising stand outside New Look for two Saturdays in the run up to Remembrance Sunday.
The Epsom and Ewell Poppy Appeal volunteers will be selling a variety of items in aid of the appeal on Saturday 2 and Saturday 9 November from 10am until 4pm.
Royal British Legion’s Barb Warwick said: “The Epsom and Ewell Poppy Appeal will be in The Ashley Centre on both Saturdays leading up to Remembrance Sunday. Please come and buy your poppy from the wonderful Air Cadets of 323 Squadron and help the Royal British Legion support our serving and veteran Armed Forces and their families. Thank you.”
The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports the Armed Forces community. Since 1921 they have ensured their unique contribution is never forgotten. They are the country’s largest Armed Forces charity, with 235,000 members, 110,000 volunteers and a network of partners and charities; giving support wherever and whenever it’s needed.
